On November 2, 2022, Shidao Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. in Weihai, Shandong Province, manufactured a large liquefied petroleum gas storage tank for Angola in Africa. The first batch of tanks officially departed from Shidao Port in Rongcheng City and will be transported by sea to African countries.
It is understood that these "giants", known as oversized "bullet cans," each have a diameter of 8 meters, a length of 80 meters, and a weight of approximately 480 tons. In March 2022, African customers took advantage of Ishijima Heavy Industries' advanced pressure vessel manufacturing capabilities and convenient sea transportation conditions, and signed a one-time order with the company for 20 units with a total amount of 130 million yuan.
