On the morning of March 9th, the super large equipment manufactured by Weihai Shidao Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was loaded and shipped from Shigang New Port. This batch of equipment is the main reactor produced by Shidao Heavy Industry for a petrochemical enterprise in Hainan, consisting of 7 pieces, including 4 pieces with a diameter of 7 meters and a length of 14 meters, each weighing 90 tons. This is also the first batch of ultra large equipment transported by sea since the resumption of work after the holiday.
In order to ensure the smooth and safe export of this super large equipment, the Weihai Shidao Maritime Affairs Department organized the port dispatch department in advance to develop an entry and exit plan for large transport ships, and required the construction unit to strictly comply with the loading construction plan, strengthen safety precautions during the operation, and ensure personal safety. Simultaneously optimizing services and opening up green channels. Communicate and contact with the port in the jurisdiction in advance, prioritize arranging the berthing and disembarking of large transport vessels, and reduce waiting time. Conduct a "medical examination" on the "Hongxiang 97" vessel responsible for this transportation task to ensure that the vessel is suitable for loading and the crew is competent. Any problems found during the inspection are required to be immediately rectified by the ship owner to ensure the safety of large cargo transportation by sea. During the loading period, law enforcement personnel focus on the fastening and binding of large cargo, as well as the ship's draft. They use electronic devices such as CCTV and AIS to closely monitor the ship's dynamics and proactively provide services such as weather, sea conditions, and traffic information to ensure the safe entry and exit of large transport ships into the port.
